Day 1 :
Arrival in Leh
Your Ladakh adventure begins as you arrive at the Leh airport, situated at a soaring altitude of 11,500 feet. You will be transferred to your hotel where the most important activity of the day is to rest and acclimatize to the thin mountain air. Relax, hydrate, and allow your body to adjust to the breathtaking environment of this high-desert region, ensuring you are ready for the days of exploration ahead.
Day 2 :
Leh City and Monastery Tour
After a leisurely breakfast, embark on a cultural tour of Leh. Explore the historic Leh Palace, a former royal residence offering magnificent views of the town. Proceed to the radiant Shanti Stupa, a symbol of peace, and soak in the spiritual ambiance. The afternoon offers time for lunch and shopping in the local market. Later, visit the impressive Thiksey Monastery, renowned for its resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa. The day concludes with a moving flag-down ceremony at the Hall of Fame and a stop at the mysterious Magnet Hill to witness its famous optical illusion.
Today's journey is an epic drive to the Nubra Valley. The road takes you over the legendary Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Pause here for photos and a celebratory cup of tea before descending into the stunning Shyok River valley. Upon arrival in Nubra, check into your camp or hotel. In the evening, experience the unique highlight of a safari on the back of a rare double-humped Bactrian camel among the stunning sand dunes of Hunder.
Day 4 :
Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake
Depart early after breakfast for one of the most scenic and adventurous drives of the trip towards the world-famous Pangong Lake. The journey via the secluded Shayok region is rugged and remote, offering raw, untouched landscapes. Be prepared for potential route changes as you navigate this dramatic terrain. The sight of the brilliant blue waters of Pangong Lake, stretching across the border into China, is a truly unforgettable and rewarding moment. Overnight stay is in comfortable camps by the lakeshore.
Day 5 :
Pangong Lake to Leh
Wake up to the serene morning views of Pangong Lake, whose colors change magically with the light. After breakfast, begin your return journey to Leh, retracing the route through the majestic mountains. The rest of the day is at your leisure upon arrival in Leh. You can use this time to relax, revisit the market for some last-minute souvenirs, or simply reflect on the incredible experiences of the past few days.

Departure from Leh
