Day Wise Itinerary

Your spiritual journey begins as you arrive in Delhi and are driven to the holy city of Haridwar, nestled on the banks of the Ganges. After checking into your hotel, you can soak in the serene and pious atmosphere of this ancient pilgrimage center, preparing yourself for the divine adventure ahead.

After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive from Haridwar into the Garhwal Himalayas, heading towards Barkot. This town serves as the gateway to Yamunotri and offers a tranquil setting with beautiful views, perfect for acclimatizing to the mountain environment.

An early start leads you to Janki Chatti, where your trek to Yamunotri begins. You can choose to walk, ride a pony, or be carried in a palanquin. At the temple, partake in the sacred rituals: bathe in the hot springs of Jamnabai Kund and offer cooked rice (prasad) from Surya Kund. Seek blessings at the Divya Shila and the Yamuna Ji temple before returning to Barkot for the night.

After breakfast, you will drive to Uttarkashi, a town known as the "Kashi of the North." Visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The town's spiritual vibe and surrounding mountain beauty provide a peaceful retreat for the night.

Today, you drive to the revered Gangotri, the source of the holy Ganges River. Set against a backdrop of majestic peaks, the temple emanates a powerful serenity. Offer prayers and witness the natural rock Shivling submerged in the river. The pristine environment is truly awe-inspiring before you drive back to Uttarkashi.

Prepare for the longest drive of the tour as you journey towards Guptkashi. The route offers spectacular views of the Himalayan landscape. Guptkashi, meaning "Hidden Kashi," is an important religious site and your base for the journey to Kedarnath.

A short drive takes you to Sonprayag, then to Gaurikund—the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. Embark on an unforgettable 18 km trek (or avail of pony/palanquin services) to the sacred Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Perched at an impressive altitude, the temple's energy is palpable. Overnight stay is provided in basic guest house accommodation near the temple.

After morning prayers at the Kedarnath Temple and Bhairav Baba Mandir, you begin your descent back to Sonprayag. From here, you will meet your driver and be transferred back to your hotel in Guptkashi for a well-deserved rest.

Today, you drive to the final Dham, Badrinath. En route, you will stop at Joshimath to visit the ancient Narsingh Temple. Upon arrival in Badrinath, check into your hotel. The town, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is surrounded by the magnificent Nar-Narayan mountain range.

Before dawn, take a purifying dip in the Tapt Kund and proceed for darshan at the magnificent Badrinath Temple. Perform rituals for ancestors at Brahma Kapal and later explore nearby sites like the last Indian village of Mana, Vyas Cave, and Bhim Kund. In the afternoon, commence your journey towards Rudraprayag/Srinagar for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you begin your return journey from the mountains, driving back to the spiritual plains of Haridwar. Check into your hotel for a final overnight stay, reflecting on the profound experiences of the past days.

Your transformative Char Dham Yatra concludes after breakfast with a drive back to Delhi. You will be dropped at the airport or railway station, carrying with you the sacred memories and blessings of the Himalayas.
