After breakfast, check out and drive to the holy city of Gaya, a paramount site for performing Hindu death anniversary rituals. This sacred city attracts pilgrims seeking to offer Pind Daan and Shraddha ceremonies at the Vishnupad Temple to bring ultimate peace to their departed ancestors and absolve ancestral debts. In the evening, you will transfer to the nearby spiritual town of Bodhgaya for your overnight stay.
Today is dedicated to exploring Bodhgaya, the most important pilgrimage site for Buddhists worldwide. This is where Prince Siddhartha attained enlightenment under the sacred Bodhi Tree. Your tour includes the magnificent Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site marking that exact spot, and the serene Bodhi Tree itself.
