Day Wise Itinerary

Upon arrival at Cochin airport or railway station, you will be greeted and driven to the beautiful hill station of Munnar. En route, feel the cool air and witness the dramatic scenery, stopping at the captivating Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls. Upon reaching Munnar, settle in and enjoy a leisurely evening with visits to a photo point and a vibrant rose garden, followed by a pleasant city walk. Overnight stay will be in Munnar.

After breakfast, your day is dedicated to exploring the highlights of Munnar. You will visit the renowned Eravikulam National Park, a unique sanctuary nestled within the Kannan Devan Hills, offering stunning views and a chance to see the Nilgiri Tahr. In the afternoon, proceed to the picturesque Echo Point and the massive Mattupetty Dam, where you can enjoy boating (optional). The day also includes an educational visit to a tea factory to learn about the art of tea processing. Overnight stay will be in Munnar.

After breakfast, you will journey to Thekkady, the gateway to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The main attraction is a boat ride on the serene Periyar Lake, an unparalleled opportunity to view wild animals like elephants, bison, and deer from the water. You can also opt for a guided plantation tour to see and learn about the cultivation of various spices, including cardamom, pepper, coffee, and cinnamon. Overnight stay will be in Thekkady.

Today, you travel to Alleppey, the heart of Kerala's backwaters. By noon, you will check in to your houseboat or hotel. If you choose the houseboat stay, you will embark on a mesmerizing cruise through a network of lagoons and lakes, witnessing local life and breathtaking scenery, with all meals included on board. If you are in a hotel, you will enjoy either a full-day backwater cruise or an hourly Shikara boat ride. This is a day of ultimate relaxation. Overnight stay will be in Alleppey.

After breakfast, you will depart for Cochin. Here, you will explore the historic area of Fort Kochi, a cultural mosaic reflecting Portuguese, Dutch, and British influences. Key sights include the ancient St. Francis Church, the Dutch Cemetery, the Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), the iconic Chinese fishing nets, and the charming Jew Town with its historic synagogue. After this enriching sightseeing tour, you will be dropped off at the Cochin airport or railway station for your departure, concluding the tour with sweet memories.
