Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrival in Guwahati – Ascend to Shillong

Your adventure begins as you arrive at Guwahati Airport. Meet your representative and begin a scenic drive into the cloud-kissed hills of Meghalaya. Your first stop is the breathtaking Umiam Lake, a vast, shimmering reservoir cradled by pine-fringed hills. Often called Barapani, its serene waters offer a perfect welcome. Continue your journey to Shillong, the charming capital known as the 'Scotland of the East.' Check into your hotel and enjoy a free evening to explore the town's colonial charm at your own pace.

Day 2 :
Expedition to Mawlynnong & Dawki

After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion. Your first destination is the remarkable village of Mawlynnong, celebrated globally as ‘Asia’s Cleanest Village.’ Walk through its spotless lanes, admire the community's dedication, and witness the incredible natural architecture of a living root bridge. Later, proceed to the town of Dawki on the India-Bangladesh border. Here, you will be astounded by the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River, where boats appear to float on glass. Enjoy a boat ride on this magical river before driving back to Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 3 :
The Legendary Cherrapunji

Today, you journey to the legendary Cherrapunji, historically known as the wettest place on earth. En route, stop at the beautiful Elephant Falls. You will then visit the majestic Mawkdok Dympep Valley for spectacular gorge views. The journey continues to the stunning Nohsngithiang Falls, also known as the Seven Sisters Falls, a magnificent seven-segmented waterfall. Explore the fascinating limestone formations of the Arwah and Mawsmai caves and enjoy the vistas at Eco Park, which offers glimpses into the plains of neighboring Bangladesh. Return to Shillong by evening.

Day 4 :
Shillong's Charms & Return to Guwahati

Enjoy a final morning in Shillong with a visit to its key local attractions. Explore the culturally rich Don Bosco Museum for a deep dive into the Northeast's heritage, stroll through the beautifully manicured Lady Hydari Park, and enjoy the tranquility of Ward’s Lake. After sightseeing, check out from your hotel and begin your drive back downhill to the bustling city of Guwahati. Upon arrival, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5 :
Guwahati's Spiritual Aura & Departure

After breakfast, check out and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Guwahati (time permitting). Visit the ancient and powerful Kamakhya Temple, an important pilgrimage site. See the engineering feat of the Saraighat Bridge over the Brahmaputra River and find peace at the Basistha Ashram Temple. Afterwards, you will be escorted to Guwahati Airport for your departure, marking the end of your journey filled with sweet memories.
